This riverside homestead situated on the banks of the Vaal River is the ideal place to relax. It’s a pleasant weekend getaway only 100km from central Johannesburg. This retreat is a fishermen’s paradise with plenty of Yellow’s, Carp, Barbel, Muddies and Silvers to hook. A small island and several rapids in the vicinity also make this an ideal spot for the fly fisherman. Accommodation can be booked for a family of four or have a family gathering for groups of thirty or more in privacy.

We can accommodate approximately 70 persons overnight and 120 persons as day visitors. We can also arrange catering for all functions at the venue.

In addition to the different types of accommodation we provide camping and picnic areas for day visitors.

Rapids, still water, deep and shallow areas are available on this part of the Vaal River.
